Job description, responsibilities and duties
- provide technical support to Fastener Purchasers to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve fasteners knowledge
- reduction of the number of fasteners types
- support of negotiation prices of fasteners
- define a strategy for price mitigation along with sales
- reduction of supplier's base
- analyze the direct suppliers (number of parts and type of products) and discuss with the customer possibility of replacing them
- work with PCC on the specific parts to find alternatives and alternative suppliers. We shouldn´t depend on just one supplier for these kind of products
- drive task force to do technical analysis for references (CCS) reduction and process competent
- organize visit to strategic suppliers
- results of the task force presented in 6 months
- support of process RFQ (min. 3 independent technical solutions reflects actual market situation)
- knowledge the suppliers process well (understand the suppliers cost breakdown)
- knowledge the customers requirements and standards
- support of following departments: ME / PD / R&D
- manage tasks and projects to fulfill internal customer satisfaction respecting timing, quality and costs and coordinate capability and capacity
- implement new type of fasteners elements (material, joining, manufacturing) to improve products and processes to gurantee competitiveness
- support and cooperation of Purchasing department
