  • Place of work: Lamačská cesta 3, Bratislava, Slovakia (Job with occasional home office)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 700 - 2 100 EUR/monthThe starting salary depends on the educational background and experience in a similar project or coordination position. It is further reviewed after the successful completion of the probation period. The annual bonus is based on personal and company performance and represents the 13th salary approximately.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Service Coordination Manager deals with Customers, Agents, Field Engineers, and Logistics to arrange physical repairs of satellite communication equipment onboard vessels operated by Marlink customers. He ensures that all tasks are well coordinated and synchronized.

• He receives the information from the support team about the required scope of work, the vessel schedule, contact information to the local port agent details, and purchase order.
• He provides the Logistics with the spare parts list and the shipping address to the best port for delivery, where the vessels will be arriving on given dates.
• He cooperates with the Logistics if certain customs requirements or unexpected shipping issues happen.
• He informs the Resource team about the required service and the need for a Field Engineer to travel and consult the availability schedule to find a time frame suitable for a repair visit.
• He contacts the Agent in the best port available to arrange boarding of the vessel by submitting the necessary documents for authorization.
• He ensures the replacement parts are on board or hand carry for a successful repair.
• He is responsible to inform if the service visit is billable and under what commercial terms were previously agreed (i.e., lease or airtime only).
• When the service visit is not successful, he gathers the feedback to arrange a second visit.
• He helps to escalate customer issues to the proper teams.
