Accountant with Polish (remote job)

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 400 EUR/monthFrom 1400 EUR - the salary depends on the skills and requirements of the candidate.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Become a part of the finance team supporting the Poland region in accounting-related tasks. You will have the opportunity to build on a new polish accounting team in Slovakia.

So, what will you do?

• invoicing on monthly basis and invoicing process control
• dealing with inappropriate invoices and other issues
• creation of invoices and credit notes
• preparation & processing of documents for booking into GL
• bank statements booking, processing bank payments, entering manual payments, setting up direct debits
• communication with internal teams and clients, suppliers
• reporting, statistics preparation
• monthly reconciliations of delegated accounts
• monthly closing responsibilities

We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of double-entry, book-keeping, and with knowledge of VAT rules.

You also have:
• advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• detail orientation, organizational and time management skills
• problem-solving skills and data analysis skills
• ability to communicate (written and verbal) and follow-up effectively with all employees and clients/customers
• ability to work independently and with a team
