Job description, responsibilities and duties

* The platform product owner will be responsible for working with product management, enterprise architecture, and development to define, and set the priority of user stories and will own the product backlog and its prioritization. Be responsible for helping the team deliver features on time, with quality and value to our customers.
*  Create and foster strong relationships with both business and technical partners
*  Become an expert your respective product
*  Elicit needs/wants (i. e. user stories/requirements) from the business and engineering
*  Translate needs/wants into a customer centric, consumable strategy
*  Own the product backlog and its prioritization
*  Work with the engineering and program management leads to set strategy, define and identify vendor products as applicable, and make the hard, high-judgment trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market
*  Engage in each stage of the Agile lifecycle i. e. sprint planning sessions, execution of sprint, demos, retrospectives, etc.
*  Understand seemingly disconnected ideas/issues well enough to create thoughtful, holistic solutions
*  Communicate up, down and across the organization effectively
*  Be an evangelist for DevOps and Agile
*  Create/ Manage documentation using collaboration and project tools such as Jira / Confluence, GitHub etc.
*  Execute any work associated with the team or program, ensuring that timelines and deadlines are effectively met

* Our client is an international is a software company developing products which support everyday operation of a wide range of contact centers, including financial institutions, telecommunication providers or emergency services. The main focus of the company is software for recording, reconstruction and archivization of calls, as well as later analysis and evaluation of recordings. The primary goal of the Kosice development center is development of a native cloud platform.

Personality requirements and skills

* This role includes working with a platform back end and devops team and requires substantial technical expertice around cloud based platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, APIs, Microservices, processes and patterns like Dev Ops, Agile Kanban and work closely with on premise, hybrid and cloud deployments within AWS & Google Cloud. You will be :
* - Fluent in English language
* - Able to work in Košice (this is not a fully remote position)
* - Strong Technical background
