Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Technical Product Owner, you should have in-depth technical knowledge. You would assist the product owner by acting as a technical resource and you will also be an advisor for the stakeholders and development team. You should also be able to arrange backlog systematically in a technical flow and prioritize it. A connection between product owner and development team.

Objectives of this role:

• Assisting and advising the product owner on key technical decisions
• Ensuring stories are incorporated as expected
• Involvement in sprint planning and clearing all technical confusion
• Making sprint more efficient by identifying what goes in and what does not
• Helping with preparation for grooming
• Help product owner define, manage and accept technical stories
• Preparing realistic estimates, making sure product owner understands what is doable and what is not
• Ordering, creating and communications product backlog items
• Making backlog transparent, understood and visible
• System maintenance and backend infrastructure management

We would also appreciate some other skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific
• Ability to program (structured and OO) with one or more high-level languages
• Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript would be appreciated
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and
performance bottlenecks
• 5+ years of experience in Software Technology
• Experience with Git, PostgreSQL, HTML5&CSS3
• Having good communication and language skills (fluent English is a must)
