Key Account Manager for Eastern Europe/ Middle East /Africa

  • Place of work: Bratislava, Slovakia (Job with occasional home office)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 800 EUR/monthSalary will be set up based on experience
  • Start date: as soon as possible

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Develop and implement the strategy to increase our coverage in key account business (in
cooperation with Sub-Regional Heads and local Key Account Directors) including
Headcount planning, Qualification of Key Account Managers and Customer Focus in
Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa
- Manage a defined list of approx. 30-50 Key Account Customers across region, work on
developing relationships leading to Order intake in a long-term perspective
- Coordinate & participate in customer negotiations as regional representative, support in
creating regional or multi-country frame agreements
- Coordinate communication between Western Europe (mainly Germany) and Eastern
Europe in terms of key account customer relations
- Support the international key account managers when needed
- Setup and implement the yearly Key Account sales plan focusing on Vertical Steering
Approach in close cooperation with the Sub-Regional Heads and local Sales Managers
including regular follow-up
- Maintain a regional project list
- Ensure Implementation and use of essential tools to steer the local Key Account business
like track the pipeline, follow up project status and monitor the margins
- Reporting to Sales Director for Visegrad Region & Russia

Personality requirements and skills

- University degree in economy or technical studies
- Experience with working in an international environment,
Industrial machinery segment preferred
- Min. 5 years of Experience in Key Account Management
(B2B) and Customer Relation Management
- Very good English knowledge mandatory, German an
- Willingness to travel (roughly 30%)
- Cultural awareness ability to adapt to country specificities
- Sales and Consultancy approach
- Ability to handle complex situations and various
information sources at the same time
- Self-reliant personality with hands-on mentality
- Bratislava, Slovakia is prefered workplace
