Job description, responsibilities and duties

Reporting and accounting role to support both functions of Finance Department of multinational company.

Reporting responsibilities:
• Support financial controlling with monthly and ad hoc reporting requirements
• Support consolidation process of subsidiaries of the company in Europe
• Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
• Support audit activities and prepare requested information
• Participate and support Finance related projects and perform ad hoc tasks as required
• Identify and evaluate process improvement possibilities

Accounting responsibilities:
• Provide timely and accurate accounting tasks according to internal guidelines, regulatory and group requirements
• Ensure timely booking of invoices, warehouse transactions, fixed assets, VAT, intercompany recharges, sales projects, etc.
• Monthly accounts reconciliation and closing

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Finance or similar

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or German - Intermediate (B1)

Microsoft Office - advanced
Microsoft Excel - expert

Personality requirements and skills

• Advanced English (written and spoken) is a must
• experience in accounting or audit or financial reporting
• Knowledge of accounting processes
• Understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls
• Advanced PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Great teammate with good communication skills
