Job description, responsibilities and duties
You are passionate about Sustainability and want to help taking LEDVANCES's global Sustainability strategy to the next level by incorporating it as an integral part of our values and daily business?
As Sustainability Manager you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the implementation of the company’s global Sustainability strategy;
• Supporting the supply chain team to engage suppliers in the Sustainability roadmap;
• Monitoring improvement actions based on yearly assessment and/or audit (ISO 14001);
• Supporting sales and marketing activities and responding to all customer requests regarding sustainability;
• Monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks as well as the ongoing development of sustainability reporting (CSRD, Taxonomy, etc.);
• Tracking Sustainability KPIs and reporting progress to the Sustainability Steering Committee and the leadership team;
• Ensuring the agreed and planned sustainability related actions are based on verified facts and in line with updated sciences;
• Supporting the creation of the annual sustainability report based on GRI standards and verified by the external auditor;
• Planning and driving sustainability communication activities;
• Handling and supporting the internal sustainability tool;
• Performing sustainability sets of training;
• Driving local sustainability projects and supporting their implementation.

• A degree in a sustainability related field, in law or a comparable education
• Several years of professional experience in the field of sustainability and/or compliance (Experience in a multi-national environment is an advantage)
• Expertise in supply chain sustainability (e. g. BSCI Amfori, RMI, LkSG, etc.)
• Good knowledge of analytical methods as well as benchmarking
• Know-how in project management and stakeholder management
• Experience in the field of sustainability reporting
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Fluency in English language
