  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 300 EUR/monthCompensation for the role is starting from 1300 euro gross base, depending on the qualification and track record of final candidate

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Apps Lab Master leads the Apps Lab (2-3 teams, 15-20 people) and ensures smooth running and constant progress of a project. S/He ensures satisfaction of students, mentors & partners. S/He creates curriculum and challenges for the Apps Lab.

-Organizing the whole schedule of Lab: arranging mentoring sessions, invited talks, team schedules…
-Maintaining the curriculum for Lab - On-site support of Lab students
-Serving as the main communication point between students and mentors/coaches
-Communicating with partners regarding company challenges for Lab
-Ensuring constant progress of student projects, maintaining their focus, priorities & tasks
-Being a guarantor for products quality and fulfillment of the schedule /project management

Mentors & students

-Available on-site
-Mentor various topics on whole application development spectrum
-Monitor team morale, identify problems in the team/project and propose solutions

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Number of years of experience

2 years of digital product development, 1 year in a team-lead position and/or 1+ years as a mentor/t

Personality requirements and skills

-Experience with business or IT development
-2+ years, ideally with a released title
-Understand various aspects of startup/ digital product development (programming, UX design methods, UI patterns, business, marketing)
-Ideally previous experience from startup or development team
-Project management
-Strong communication skills – written & oral
-Teaching/mentoring experience (advantage)
-Leadership/management experience – 1+ year (advantage)
-English level B2 - C1
