  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 500 EUR/monthThe minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 1500 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the company, depending on experience.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

LANXESS is currently seeking for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals for the position of Accountant.

Location: Bratislava, Pribinova 6, Eurovea

Key Responsibilities:

- Posting of incoming invoices issued for Slovak headquarters, with and without purchase orders (PO), framework POs and standard POs, ensuring the compliance with intercompany rules for a PO
- Financial planning (money allocaton to all branch offices)
- Processing and posting of commission statements (Access, SAP), clearing the payments (Access), communication with partners iro commission, IC reconciliations
- Processing of statistics for the Statistical office of the Slovak Republic (monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc statistics)
- Cooperation on processing of monthly reports from CEE branch offices
- Processing of bank payments for invoices, salaries, taxes, money transfers for all CEE branch offices, payment runs in SAP
- Monthly processing of VISA offsetting letter and posting the currency differences
- Monthly posting of depreciations and other ad-hoc internal documents
- Quarterly GL accounts reconciliation
- Supporting closing activities for LXS CEE with all branch offices
- Communication with external accounting companies of the CEE branch offices, with auditors, vendors, colleagues from Germany
- Cooperation with audit and colleagues, support to accounting assistant in some of her/his tasks if needed (weekly cash flow forecast, evidencing of invoices, set up new vendors in SAP...)

Experience in the position/sector


Personality requirements and skills

- University degree preferably in the area of finance, accounting, economics or secondary economic school or secondary grammar school
- Working experience in the area of finance, accounting, administration
- English proficient written and spoken, communicative level of French would be an advantage
- Good comprehension of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point), SAP
- Flair for numbers and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent teammate and willingness to share and support
- Diligent and accurate working style
- Detail oriented
- Solves business problems using own initiative and common sense
