Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Bid Manager is a full member of the engagement team (Seller, CPE, TSM, …) and is acting from the deal qualification to the contract signing and registering. He participates to deliver high value proposal, solutions and contracts to customers in the respect of the internal processes and rules. He must be able to advise the sales team on overall solution design activities and act as a focal point and facilitator with the other aligned functions like Legal, Finance…

The Bid Manager is also acting as delegated pricer and this is a big part of the activity. He makes the pricing and his goal is to reach the winning price in accordance with the pricing rules and delegations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Read, understand and analyze the customer’s RFP
- Know and understand the solution design process
- Assist the seller to coordinate the engagement team
- Understand the solution and the cost case designed by the team at a high level
- Make the pricing in line with the pricing rules
- Assist the seller to write the financial appendix in contracts and to define the prices presentation
- Identify the Non-Standards T&Cs related to the pricing
- Write the Price Release Letter and ask for the approvals on behalf of the Seller
- Identify any deviation to the solution design process or pricing rules
- Assist the seller for the contract registration once signed by the customer



Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

1. Hard skills required:
• Fluency in business English. French language is a necessity.
• Pricing and/or Financials knowledge
• Knowledge of Solution Design Process
• Knowledge on Contracts Terms & Conditions related to the pricing
• Understand technical solutions at a high level
• Leadership

2. Soft skills required:

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)
