Senior Accountant


Information about the position

  • Place of work: Vajnorská 100/B, Bratislava
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 900 EUR/monthfrom 1 900€ (a higher salary can be agreed depending on the experience and fulfillment of the required abilities of the candidate) + motivating bonus scheme

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for responsible colleague for our finance department!

Your main responsibilities:
• responsibility for preparation of VAT statements in accordance with valid legislation of the Slovak Republic and other company taxes,
• calculation of corporate income tax and preparation of tax returns in cooperation with tax advisors,
• calculation of deferred tax,
• preparation of annual financial statements, financial statements, communication with auditors,
• preparation of monthly financial statements in cooperation with colleagues,
• accounting for company reserves, accruals of costs / revenues,
• preparation and accounting of assets, intercompany invoices, internal documents,
• management of the order catalog for incoming invoices,
• accounting for wages, holiday vouchers,
• monthly account inventories,
• incorporation of changes in legislation into the company's processes / guidelines, proposals for process changes, corrective measures,
• processing of statistical reports of the company,
• reporting.

Personality requirements and skills

- comprehensive Slovak accounting experience for at least 4 years,
- economic education - business academy or accounting (bachelor degree),
- English on active level ,
- knowledge of accounting and tax laws of the Slovak Republic,
- ability to exactly follow procedures and rules,
- attention to detail, willingness to look for new solutions (processes/technical solutions),
- team player,
- responsible approach.
