  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 700 EUR/monthThis is a minimal guaranteed salary. The salary can be higher, it would depend on relevant skills and experience.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the Position: Development of Cockpit application on KiBox2 project. Main tasks:
  • Development of Cockpit software component functionalities in compliance with the KiBox2 project scope
  • and priorities
  • Development of any supporting tools on client side required by KiBox2 project scope
  • Production & presentation of architectural concepts required for project implementation
  • Detailed software design of software components
  • Producing software design documentation compliant with Kistler quality standards
  • Writing unit/integration tests for developed components and proactive monitoring of test coverage gaps
  • Continous improvement of Cockpit software development guidelines
  • Applying Kistler methodology for professional software development
  • Defect fixing, debugging, code reviews
  • Complying with KiBox2 project software development procedures
  • Participating on CI activities and setup

What we expect from you   Must have:
  • Education in Computer Engineering (University, University of Applied Sciences, HTL or others)
  • Necessary experience in (profound expert knowledge) Software-Engineering
  • Application of  OO methods and use of OO modelling tools
  • Architecture and design creation as well as in the utilization of design patterns
  • Application of algorithms and data structs in any programming language (preferable C++, Golang, Python)
  • Experience with development under Linux & Windows environment
  • Strong knowledge of Software modeling tools and technologies
  • Analytical and systematic working style
  • Ability to debug complex components
  • Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to complex development environment
  • Affinity to work in an international environment
  • Commitment to deliver outstanding quality
  • Experience with agile development methods (Scrum, SAFe, …)
  • Very good command of  languages: English in speech and writing
Nice to have:
  •     Experience with networking (TLS, multicast, UDP/TCP, …)
  •     Basic understanding of Constrain application protocol (RFC 7252, RFC 8323)
  •     Experience with DB (mongoDB, sqlLite, PostgreSQL), NATS, Kafka
