Job description, responsibilities and duties

THE ROLE

The Health & Well Being Manager will drive strategy and operations within the medical centre, health business continuity planning and manufacturing health risk management of Nitra plant. The role holder will deliver initiatives which will ensure the way we organise ourselves and work together creates competitive advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading the tender and servicing for the provider in the Medical centre in line with business requirements taking into account legislative and GDPR requirements.

Oversight and complex contract management of medical 3rd party contracts as staff coordination, planning headcount, solve complaints from employee´s side, regularly review process in order to improvement, monitor legislative changes and subsequent implementation.

Manage KPI’s, SLAs and reporting to measure contract effectiveness and efficiency. Cooperate with the local and international Medical Teams to execute the strategy and monitor KPIs for delivery.

Prepare strategy for pandemic situation in order to eliminate potential risk of closing plant. Monitor situation around health events e.g. COVID-19 pandemic or other possible health problems which can impact production and make flexible decision about countermeasures.

Manage and prepare procedure for public health specialist to minimize risk working positions.

Check process and content of the medical checks.

Create the rehabilitation program for the employees with cooperation of professional advice which are in risk working positions.

Cooperate with the Business continuity team to secure that all processes are aligned with JLR standards.

Manage and evaluate the manufacturing risk management for JLR Nitra plant.

Support HR Director in developing the Wellbeing strategy that improves engagement, recruitment and retention.

Work closely with the Hiring Department to implement development programmes for hiring the efficient candidates.

Arrange PO’s and budget management.

Experience of developing and implementation of strategies across diverse colleague groups

Governance and risk management skills, strong project management skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Knowledge of health and wellbeing activities and strategy

Accurate administration skills, attention to detail, data management and manipulation as well as strong business acumen and have the ability to build business cases and present return on investment.

Experience of working in a matrix environment, closely collaborating with colleagues from across functions

Ability to plan and manage delivery through other teams (e.g. in other countries, sites)

Able to negotiate and influence at the highest level both internally and externally

Ability to develop and implement strategy at organisational level

Experienced user of IT systems inc MS Office
