Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced development engineer to work in the area of thermal management components in the automotive industry. Join us and help us form the future of the automotive industry.

Your tasks:
- Development of electronic components in global project teams
- Close cooperation with other involved development areas in the global project teams
- Exchange with the development areas in the product segments as well as pre-development and advanced engineering
- Customer representative for the selection of special product features and product development
- Ensuring the tasks in the PEP
- Development and simulation of electronic / mechatronic systems as well as compliance and verification of EMC requirements
- Participation in the creation and definition of the Automotive SPICE requirements and ensuring compliance with the Automotive SPICE requirements

The client on whose behalf the position is filled is an international automotive company based in Germany, developing products related to thermal management. These products help to specifically control and regulate water circuit temperatures at central points. As a result, for example, the warm-up phase can be significantly reduced, thus saving fuel and reducing CO 2 emissions.

Personality requirements and skills

- University degree in electrical engineering or comparable training
- Professional experience in mechatronics/electronics development (HW/SW), preferably in the automotive industry
- Specialist knowledge of the topics ASPICE, LIN bus control & functional safety ISO 26262 desirable
- Very good analytical skills and solution orientation as well as high team spirit
- MS Office knowledge and knowledge of development-specific tools (e.g. Reqman, Babtec)
- Business fluent English and willingness to travel occasionally
