  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 1 900 EUR/month+ Bonus up to 10%. The final offer for the selected candidate will depend on shared responsibilities, skills and previous work experience.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for 2 new colleagues to our newly created local customer dedicated sub-team of software engineers.
As our new colleague you will be participating on enterprise-level projects in the multinational environment consisted of members from UK, Spain and Slovakia, designing and writing scripts required to extract and transform data from the business systems into the enterprise data warehouse as well as assisting in the maintenance and support of the data and databases for those business systems using SQL, ETL, and OLAP tools and techniques.

Other tasks and responsibilities:
- Developing capabilities in environment built on MS-BI stack, including Power BI (PBI) reports and dashboards, Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS),
- Designing and building ETL for Data Warehouses in continuously established Star Schema data model,
- Developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages that implement ETL processes,
- Handling of data models, through the use of formulas and expressions (DAX),
- Using SQL to optimise queries, improve performance or write new statements,
- Working with MS SQL Server: creating databases, functions, triggers, processing raw data, preparing scripts and SQL queries,
- Assisting in the development, execution and documentation of test plans.

Experience in the position/sector


Personality requirements and skills

• Demonstrated SQL skills
• Experience with MS Power BI, MS SQL Server, MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent ETL technology and MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or equivalent technologies
• Experience with Azure data based services (Azure Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Familiarity with data warehousing design, methodology and techniques

• Good command of spoken and written English or German
• Excellent customer and service focus as well as team skills
• Self-contained and well-structured way of working
• Willingness to travel
• Hands-on mentality, holistic thinking, team spirit, reliability and a high level of service orientation

Nice to have:
• C# programming experience
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Machine Learning)
