Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Retail Operations Coontroller´s role is supporting the Fuels and Convenience Retailing functions.
The roles’ main purpose is to maintain and optimize the financial and other non-financial levers and drive the performance of Shell Slovakia through the delivery of a profitable, competitive plan to the Retailers (Petrol Station Operators), and through an effective business performance management process together with Slovak Retail Sales team.

Your tasks will include:
- Developing the annual Business Plans for Retailer partners and monitor Plan execution.
- Monitor and conduct analysis of Retailers Performance.
- Owner of the site operations cost planning and actuals appraisal process locally
- Drive the local implementation of the Channel improvement agenda.
- Support contract management activities with Retailer partners and Site Operations services

- Responsible for the Retailer Renumeration framework and Cost Management framework.
- Be the local owner of the Global Modelling and Business Planning tool.
- Collaborate actively with Retailer Accounting Company
- Monitor and analyse site and cluster performance and profitability
- Support the Contracting activities with Site Operators (Retailers) and support Site Service contract tenders (together with central Contracting & Procurement team)
- Interface/ facilitate local improvement initiatives to optimize the economic performance of the channels
- Manage required business Management Information activities
- Provide support to the Territory Managers and Sales Manager (SM) with the coordination of the Retailer Contract, renewal /closure processes, liaising with other Mobility functional areas such as Network, Marketing, Finance
- Support the definition and management of the portfolio of documents required to operate retail sites
- Drive improvements on the processes under Channel agenda (planning, cost management etc)

- University degree (preferred in Economics/finance)
- 3-5 years of analyst/economist/controlling experience in Retailing / FMCG sector
- Fluent in English and Slovak
- Ability to work efficiently also in a Virtual Organization
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint),
- Very strong command of Excel - capability to build/renew Excel program sheets
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
