Sales Specialist

We are looking for a passionate and goal-oriented Sales Specialist to join our team at IKEA. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for optimising the IKEA shopping experience in your area of responsibility to secure satisfied customers and increase sales.

Your main responsibilities will include putting the customer first in your daily work, educating co-workers on product knowledge, leading and supporting planned commercial activities, maximising sales whilst maintaining profitability, and promoting the IKEA social and environmental commitment.

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the customer's life at home in your local market, a passion for selling and reaching your goals, and a desire to increase your skills and knowledge. You should also have excellent communication skills, be computer-literate, and be interested in people's everyday life at home and home furnishing.

Key Tasks:

• Approach customers who require additional help and advise them on the best solutions for their homes
• Educate colleague on the features and benefits of IKEA's products and services
• Build a high level of knowledge and deep understanding of the assortment of IKEA products
• Actively support the implementation of planned commercial activities
• Actively steer sales and service products in your area of responsibility
• Analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters
• Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment
• Use sales location management and sales steering knowledge to secure high stock availability

• Experience of working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.

• Ability to prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available
• Computer literacy
• Czech/Slovak and English language is a must
• Leadership and people management experience is an advantage
