Application Developer and Analytics in Global Sales Incentives dept.

• The professions within this specialty:
o Develop tools for global deployment in support of Global Sales Incentives.
o Are responsible for collaboration with end users to understand their processes,
business concerns and productivity impacts.
o Iteratively design, develop and deploy deliverables using agile principles.

• Skill set includes:
o Analytics dashboards, reporting, APIs, and web design.

• Responsibilities include:
o Technology determination, development, testing and end user education. Support innovation and process/tools to simplify and enable collaboration.

• General incentives knowledge is a plus. Candidate must be a fast process learner.

• As part of the development process the candidate need to communicate and collaborate with the customer (and other stakeholders) to understand stakeholders’ objectives for the project and to gather requirements that help define software features and functions; plan the technical tasks to be conducted, the risks that are likely, the resources that will be required, the work products to be produced, and a work schedule; create models to better understand software requirements and the design that will achieve the requirements; write code and test to uncover errors; deliver the application or Dashboard to the customer and gather feedback.

• All activities should be performed in light of Agile principles and methods such as: continuous delivery of valuable software; welcome changing requirements; deliver working software frequently; working software as the primary measure of progress; continuous attention to technical excellence and good design; simplicity; and self-organizing teams.
