What is your experience:

Minimum 2 years of Travel Industry experience in a sales support and/or customer service role. Alternatively, applicants with a strong Hotel Front Office / Hotel Reservations background are invited to apply.
• Understanding of Online travel booking systems and travel product distribution channels
• Excellent command of English (oral and written), second language according to the market assigned is must (German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian)

>>You are familiar and have a measurable track record with:
• B2B experience as a user with online booking systems for hotel reservations
• Ideally GDS Air Ticket Sales (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Travelport) incl. fare rules, ticket processing, etc.
• You have current or at least previous working experience with a Retail Travel agent, Tour Operator, part of a Travel Wholesaler (Outbound Travel), or Destination Management company (Inbound Travel). Also, candidates demonstrating a strong hotel background are welcome to apply.
• You are fluent in English and one more Key European language such as French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic.

What will you do in this position:

Operations and business development support to existing and new customers in line with the company service level of agreements.
Ad Hoc negotiations with hotel and 3rd party suppliers

• You will engage in upcoming issues with all clients in the assigned region/markets e.g. day to day operational aspects, complaints, and resolve issues as they appear incl. but not short of (Preparation of reservations, Relocations and claims handling, bookings reconfirmation, quotations). Liaison with direct suppliers and 3rd party providers

• Assist with Strategic Accounts to improve product and revenues. Becomes a known and well respected Go-To-Person for such accounts and its employees.

• Assist in the handling of so-called offline requests – feels comfortable contacting suppliers directly to obtain the best possible conditions and rates.

• Assists the Key Area Managers with training sessions for clients with several booking staff through webinars or personal visits to local or regional clients face to face

• Monitor client satisfaction with calls assists the Sales team with new products training, etc.

• Knowledgeable about the company’s products, the situation in the market, and demand for our products and services.

• Assist with communication and liaison between Sales and Operations, Product and Finance teams to support the required growth for efficient operations and anticipating potential problems where possible, resolving when necessary.
