Senior Researcher Market Research with English and German

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Conduct research projects to uncover and understand consumer needs, usage behavior, market trends and strategic opportunities
• Designing and coordinating primary quantitative and qualitative studies based on research request provided by business partners, including suppliers briefing, bids collections, supervision of research execution, data analysis and reporting
• Conduct social media listening by building research queries in digital analytical tools and uncovering patterns and trends in online conversations
• Preparation of desk research by searching, consolidating and analyzing existing internal or external data
• Identify key learnings and translate them into consumer insights utilizing story telling and engaging visualization in PowerPoint
• Create presentations and provide consultancy and recommendations to Marketing, Sales and R&D departments

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• University education in the field of Market Research, Marketing, Sociology, Psychology or Communications
• 2 years of working experience in market research, ideally at a research institute
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, readiness of mind and ability to work well-structured in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German is a MUST
• Skilled user of PowerPoint, with the ability to create slides and charts that convey key research findings
• Passion and interest for social media (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, blogs, forums, consumer reviews)
• Experience with digital and social analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, BrandWatch, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to find meaning in data, separate relevance from noise and turn data into stories
• Creativity, curiosity and openness for new subjects and methods
