Local IMS Purchasing Manager SK/CZ

  • Place of work: Bratislava, Slovakia (Job with occasional home office)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 700 EUR/month
  • Contract type: full-time

Job description, responsibilities and duties

*Manages relationship to local key stakeholder, collaborates on initialization of saving projects or further benefits
*Specifies reg./local demand, creates spend transparency by analyzing purchasing data, defines specific metrics as basis for negotiation
*Screens the markets and identifies potentially new suppliers, prepares and conducts efficient and compliant (e)-sourcing activities
*Develops supplier decision memo for local business, awards and implements suppliers, establishes contracts in cooperation with Legal department
*Tracks and benchmarks sourcing decision, consults category for the sourcing strategy development
*Guides the local business colleagues on compliance and sustainability in sourcing Steers regional and global project roll-outs and change management on local level
*Escalates path for process service level and quality of end-to-end Source to Pay operations, ensures governance and compliance for Source to Pay related activities
*Manages local/regional supplier base and identifies potential supplier rationalization
*Steers the enablement of digital suppliers and content for the buying channels to cover local demand efficiently
*Guides local business on buying channels/order process for IMS *Executes and tracks defined Source to Pay transactions in case of legal local or market requirements
*Active member of internal and external audits for all departments in section „Vendor Management“
*Driving sustainability and digitalization via awarded new solutions coming from tenders/negotiations

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

*Master's Degree is beneficial, preferably in Business Administration
*Communication and negotiation skills including influencing and convincing internal stakeholders, purchasing colleagues and suppliers
*An open mindset which is agile to changes and challenges with strong judgement
*Team player with soft skills
*Active and not shy person
*Analytical thinking, conceptual skills, good at numbers and calculations
*Excellent in English and Slovak/Czech language is mandatory due to local stakeholders
