Job description, responsibilities and duties

The responsibilities of a Commissioning Agent are:
•To develop and keep up to date commissioning company procedures covering corresponding activities across all projects in all countries,
•To provide overall management (coordination) of commissioning activities on a project to ensure the building, staff, and paperwork readiness for operation.
•To make sure that the following documents and tasks are done or prepared in due course:
• Commissioning plan / commissioning strategy
• Commissioning budget
• Commissioning procedures
• Commissioning specification
• Commissioning input to design brief
• Design review from commissioning perspective
• Commissioning team - roles and responsibilities definition
• Commissioning input to Tender to select Commissioning specialist
• Commissioning team set-up and coordination
• Method statement coordination
• Coordination of installation verification
• Coordination of pre-commissioning activities
• Coordination of individual systems commissioning
• Coordinated commissioning
• Coordination of seasonal commissioning
• Coordination of "soft" landing

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience with commissioning activities. Knowledge of CE market is an advantage.
• Engineering/university degree with a technical background. Chartered membership of a professional institution is an advantage
• Understanding of industry software packages including MS Office, Autocad is an advantage
• Language skills – English fluency is a must
• Good communication skills and coordination skills, experience in dealing with different teams in various countries is an advantage
• Willing to work across many European countries with a teamwork approach
• Demonstrable project management expertise
• Experience in construction investment projects is an advantage
