Job description, responsibilities and duties
WE ARE HIRING EXPERIENCED BUYER !
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Participating in NEW Product Development - in terms of material planning and operational purchasing
- Ensuring on time delivery of material of appropriate quality and quantity to meet requrements of NEW Product development requirements
- Monitoring inventory level of material neccessary for smoothly running NEW Product development process
- Advanced MS Excel planning of material
- Processing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
- Participation in New Product development review meetings
- Reporting about status of material requirements, deliveries, inventory etc.
- Close cooperation with sourcing manager
- Cooperation on creating new procurement strategies
- Processing RFI, RFQ
- Manage competition between suppliers, supplier evaluation and selection process
- Participating in business review meetings with assigned suppliers
- Prediction of potential risks and supply issues, suggestion corrective actions and escalation to NEW Product development project team
- Cooperation on transition of NEW Product from development to serial production
- Master Data management in SAP
- Communication with internal (including Global Procurement) as well as external partners
