Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced manager who will take care of the Supply Chain Management department of the newly established business center in Trnava.

This is a key role in the Supply Chain Organization to execute efficiently operations for the assigned business process, function, or area.
The SCM Manager is reporting to SCM Director and will lead 3 Team Leaders

YOUR main responsibilities will be:

• Track and meet key supply chain KPIs
• Provide leadership, oversight, and guidance to a large Supply Chain management and technical staff to achieve results established
• Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
• Develop, coordinate and implement continuous improvement actions
• Develop internal controls to achieve and improve key supply chain KPIs
• Contribute to ensuring the quality of processes, policies, procedures, work aids, and work instructions created to guide work carried out under the Global Supply Chain
• Supervise the conclusion of requests from internal/external customers
• Responsible to interact with suppliers, internal clients, and external customers.
• Regularly monitors and measures internal customer satisfaction levels and takes corrective action when needed.
• Regularly monitor and assess the structure and performance of the Supply Chain and lead redesign and process improvement initiatives as required.
• Supervise with direct responsibility for the following functional areas: client relations; order fulfillment; commodity storage; transportation services; supplier management; quality assurance; planning; analytics; optimization.
• Identify and standardize regional SCM best practice
• Manage the progress and prioritization of GBS projects

• General overview of SCM processes
• Strong SCM / reporting overview
• Management Supply Chain certification or equivalent knowledge would be beneficial
• Ability to build trust & maintain confidentiality is critical
• MS-Office (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint),
ERP experience is a must (SAP)
• Analytical skills, Ability to interpret the data and drive improvements, make recommendations for
process changes
• Willing to develop and learn, Collaborative, Team player,
• Strong Communication and presentation skills and ability to interpret data to various levels
• Customer and result oriented,
• Proactive attitude, Flexibility
