Job description, responsibilities and duties

This a chance to grab your seat with modern finances, in the newly created team, where you can be part of greenfield and influence the look of reporting function.

Ideal candidate comes from:
- Shared Service Centers, Controlling in production or audit
- your previous job as an auditor is an advantage
- must have previous experience in a similar role or duties at least 3 years
- has the knowledge of SAP FI Modul on an advanced user level
- is familiar with Macros and ideally, has experience with creating Dashboards
- feels really great and strong in the analysis of data and presenting them
- has economic, accounting, or finance university degree;
- has the IFRS knowledge

The main task is to understand the management needs, or plan controlling department for data reporting, to analyze possibilities, and to define the best-fit report form. The following step is to communicate it to the technical team member, that will get the report from SAP tool.
In the future, you will be expected to help with the design of new reporting tools.

Your job duties will include:
• support Corporate Finance in monitoring the use of the SAP Kernel Chart of Accounts by the various reporting entities, avoiding the proliferation of accounts;
• Interact with ICT Dept. to incorporate the agreed changes of SAP Kernel Chart of Accounts in the accounting systems;
• cooperate with Group consolidation Dept. in linking the SAP accounts to the Group reporting accounts set up in Enterprise system;
• provide oversight and assistance for the implementation and on-going maintenance of the tools running Manual Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations, if any, ensuring that the processes comply with good control practices;
• cooperate for the proposal and implementation of Marelli Finance policies and procedures, in order to ensure that the main kind of transactions are treated in a consistent way;
• support Corporate Finance in defining the new accounting flows triggered by the adoption of new International Financial Standards (“IFRS”) or new transactions;
• support the GBS Depts (PtP, OtC and RtR) in designing the controls aimed to improve the control environment over the financial reporting (“ICFR”);
• periodically test the controls performed by the GBS Depts (PtP, OtC and RtR) in order to ensure that they are duly performed and adequately documented and interface to the external auditors for ICFR matters;
• support the various Finance BUs controllers and CAO operating in the Countries in defining and designing the necessary controls aimed to improve the existing control environment over the financial reporting;
• periodically collect and review the net equity reconciliations between Group reporting purposes and local statutory purposes.

The RTR - reporting team has 3 team members, this is a new role to support the team.
