Product Engineer

• Further evolution of the expertise, the design and the development process of sunroof systems
• Act as technical supplier contact for current or future suppliers
• Hold responsibility that the design will meet the specification and verify, under expertise support through the CAE department
• Manage the drawing release process and ensure all information on the drawings is correct
• Create and maintain technical specifications of components
• Cooperate with other departments (CAD, project management, quality, operations etc.)
• Communicate technical changes with customer contact
• Create and update the engineering bill of material in cooperation with CAD department
• Participate on P/D FMEA sessions
• Support cost reduction and redesign programs
• Cooperate with quality department to reduce non-conformances and warranty issues
• Support operations with technical root cause analysis (problem solving methodology), technical change implementation
