Job description, responsibilities and duties

Framatome Controls s. r. o. is continuing to develop and grow and will hire a further 20 people at its Bratislava site in 2023.

In your role as system design leader you will be responsible for leading and coordination of safety I&C systems design for nuclear power plants worldwide.

Your tasks will focus on:
- Planning, coordination and supervision of I&C system design until handover to customer
- Management of interfaces with other systems and disciplines, project management
- Leading of design team, setting objectives, priorities to achieve tasks completion
- Clarification of input data and open points internally and with customer

- Basic wage: starting from 1900 EUR gross/month*

*We are required by law to disclose basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised positions. We carefully consider your professional qualifications and experience in our compensation package and/or when offering you other positions. The above mentioned basic wage is defined for candidates with junior experiences.

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

- Engineer's degree specialized in one of the following field : Automation, Nuclear Physics/Technology
- Minimum 5 years of experience with design of DCS or PLC based I&C systems
- Experience with engineering lead position
- Experience with design of safety critical or nuclear classified I&C systems is an advantage
- User knowledge of functional safety, nuclear safety standards is an advantage

- Minimum Upper intermediate English level B2, ability to communicate in an international environment
- Good communication, coordination and team leading skills

- Availability for short business trips (< 3 months/ year)
