Quality Engineering (QA/Automated Testing) position for Graduates - 2 year rotation programme

  • Place of work: Digital Park II, Einsteinova, Petržalka, Slovakia, Bratislava (Job with occasional home office)
  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 833,33 EUR/monthSalary is fixed at 22 000€/year. Successful candidate would be eligible for sign-on bonus, performance bonus and graduation bonus. Start date is 4th July 2022.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We're looking for fresh graduates graduating in 2022 or have graduated within last 3 years (2021, 2020, 2019).

Fiserv's Graduate Programme is an early career development programme where candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional technology role. Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience in the business world and unique to you!

Our ambition is to offer fresh graduates the opportunity to become individuals with proper understanding of technologies utilized as part of continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle that would be then perfectly positioned to cover for roles responsible for solution implementation and quality assurance of it, cloud infrastructure provisioning/maintenance.

In the first year you will join the testing department and learn how magic works when you pay with your card in shop or online.
You will see that POS terminal can do much more than accepting your credit card.
You will make sure that money moves around the globe smoothly and securely to the right hands.
We work with:
- Selenium,
- Postman,
- Jenkins & Jira,
- Cucumber,
- Python,
- BDD and much more.

In the second year you can choose from a variety of our departments where would you like to work for the second rotation. This includes development (Java, C++), Production (Application administration), Testing (manual or automated), infrastructure (system administration, middleware, automation etc.). This will be discussed based on availability at the end of the first year.

Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning, and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry-level opportunities to advance within our company upon completing the two-year programme.

Stage 1 – If you meet the job requirements, you can expect a short 10 minutes screening call with our recruiter.

Stage 2 – Meet with the Hiring manager for a short 30-60 minute long (video-conference) interview.

Stage 3 – Optionally, you might be asked to complete a case study or test.

Personality requirements and skills


We're looking for candidates who are going to graduate in 2021 or have graduated within last 3 years.

Hard skills:
- SW Development Life Cycle and Scrum basic knowledge.
- Jira or other collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of any testing tool is welcome.
- Know how to define and execute various types of tests and report bugs effectively.
- For Automated testing – a Java development background or experience with implementation of test automation frameworks

Soft skills:
- Problem-solving capability, team collaboration skills, logical thinking, self-motivation, analytical skills, attention to detail.

Additional requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Preferred degree areas include: Technology related degrees in Programming or Testing or other relevant IT Degree.
- Optionally, we would prefer graduates with university grade average better than 1.5 (B).
