Job description, responsibilities and duties

EAI's Conference Management team is searching for an intern who would assist with our newly developed online conferences and other conference related tasks. This internship offers a platform to jump on the wave of 'the new normal' of online participation, through the lens of academic conferences. Bridging the conference aspect with the marketing aspect, the online conferences are an open door for an ever innovative approach, presenting space for self realization and immersion.
You would be a part of a collaborative team while working independently on your own tasks. If you are dedicated, detail oriented, and want to learn about how academic conferences are run, we would be happy to receive your application.

Specific Job responsibilities include:
- Receiving, checking and categorizing presentation videos from authors
- Upkeep of databases and lists
- Communication with international authors
- Creation of conference programs from a list of inputs
- Creation of scrips for online conference video streams (based on program) and communication with video editor
- Scheduling reminders, following on deadlines and screening responses of conference authors
- Preparation of promotional and conference materials (Publisher, Canva/Photoshop/...)
- General assistance with the conference processes
