  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 3 000 EUR/month* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 25% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Sales engineer is responsible for supporting the sales staff in presenting technical presentations of our products as well as assisting on installations of our products in both a pre- and post-sales support role. Pre-sales activities involve technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and assisting customers and resellers with product evaluations, training of partners, system integrators, and resellers. The Sales Engineer will work closely with both our direct sales team as well as supporting our partners and high profile customers.

Senior Sales Engineer also works on answering of RFP’s and RFI’s and development of sales tools needed for local sale or pre-sales teams.

Job tasks:
- Provide product demonstrations both in person and online to potential clients or partners and be the technical lead on large deals, driving the opportunity to close.
- Provide/deliver partners or customer training for our products
- Provide technical training to sales teams WW
- Respond to reseller and High profile customer requests for technical assistance.
- Keep accurate notes in CRM for all related activities.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and partners.
- Consult with external customers to interpret customer requirements while providing product application assistance.
- Assist sales force and partners inclosing business deals through on-site visits or online
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and other industry events.
- Provide feedback to product development regarding product changes as it relates to customer requirements.
- Champion our product line through product presentations and technical demonstrations at customer and partner sites
- Work on answering of RFP’s and RFI’s
- Cooperate on sales tools creation for local sale or pre-sales teams.

What do we expect from you:

Education: Bachelor University Degree or higher

Experience:
• At least ten years in a Sales Engineering or Professional Services/Consulting experience.
• At least five years in a Sales Engineering or Professional Services/Consulting experience in security field.
• Experience in Telco / ISP business is advantageous

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows, Solaris, Linux, and Novell systems and advanced computer networking environments.
• Ability to comprehend and convey complex systems and issues with an effective manner, both written and verbally.
• Skill in business communication and making excellent presentations
• Skill in organization and time management
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to close business while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction
• Ability to train others

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD.
