  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 000 EUR/monthPerformance bonus 2 times per year up to 16,67% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced software tester to join our Windows Applications development team. The employee will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving manual and automated tests and test scripts used for testing of our products in agile environment.

Responsibilities

- Verify new functionality, changes and fixes being implemented in the application
- Create and maintain tests and scripts for automated testing, automating repetitive activities and tasks
- Report bugs, providing quick feedback on the quality of features under development as well as the whole product
- Prepare and maintain test environments
- Actively use and apply the principles of agile testing

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Must Have

- Minimum 2+ years of practical experience with manual and automation testing
- Practical knowledge of test design techniques
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Experience with (test) management tools (JIRA, Confluence,…)
- English language (B2 level)

Nice to have

- Experience with a scripting language (Python, powershell,..)
- Willingness to learn new things and technologies
- Experience with agile software development (SCRUM)

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses.
