  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 1 500 EUR/monthFinancial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 16,67% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months)

You will:
• support the day to day operations of the EMEA PR team
• provide support of selected EMEA territories and selected EMEA PR activities, as agreed with the EMEA PR Coordinator/Manager
• With support from EMEA PR coordinator/manager, implement EMEA PR strategy on selected territories to enhance and protect ESET’s reputation and raise awareness of the company within the selected territories and support regional business objectives
• support the coordination of EMEA press events and visits to HQ as required
• provide professional crisis communication support
• support the creation of the EMEA content pipeline, including press releases, articles, blogs and rapid response comments
• where required, develop strong relationships with local EMEA communication teams based on trust and effective exchange of information
• cooperate with EMEA PR Analyst & Channel Specialist, assigning tasks, targets and performance reporting
• perform conceptual, systematic, creative and methodical activities

Personality requirements and skills

What do we expect from you:
• University degree preferably
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PR or media
• Knowledge of how media work, what makes news newsworthy
• Interest in IT security, technologies
• Knowledge of European media is a plus
• Solid knowledge of MS office tools
• Fluent English – level C1 (daily work)
• Any additional language is a big plus (French, Italian,..)
• Creative and strategic thinking
• Open and clear communication, active listener\
• Fast learner, flexible to changes
• Willingness to travel (5% of the time)

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.
