Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Agile Tester to join our team which is responsible for the implementation of microservices and multi-container applications.

As an Agile Tester, you will be part of our team of developers. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual and automated test cases to continuously evaluate and improve the quality of our developed applications and services.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain test environments
• Test newly developed functionality, changes, and fixed defects in the product
• Prepare test scenarios and test documentation
• Report bugs or any issues with the product, proactively provide feedback to the team
• Create and maintain scripts to automate test cases in viable scenarios
• Actively apply principles of agile methodology while working (SCRUM

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Practical experience with software testing
• Knowledge of test design techniques
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Testlink, etc.)
• Experience with automated testing tools (Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright)
• Experience with Git, scripting languages, and basic terminal commands (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Knowledge and experience with software development cycle in an agile environment (SCRUM)
• Experience with testing of web applications, REST API
• Nice to have basic knowledge of working with databases (MS SQL Server)
• Nice to have experience with integrating automated tests for continuous delivery (Jenkins)

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD.
