Job description, responsibilities and duties

Global Digital Coordinator defines and evangelizes digital tools and best practices for global use.
You will be involved in complex cross-division / cross-country projects and initiatives with mid-level business impact. We need you to be a skilled professional acting as digital consultant and/or project manager, having good knowledge of latest digital trends and wide spectrum of digital tools.

As our Global Digital Coordinator, you will:
• Actively cooperate at the initiation phase of assigned projects and proposes project goals, benefits and KPI’s
• Act as a subject matter expert for digital workflow processes and technologies used in projects
• Optimize and integrate production and delivery of digital/online assets
• Ensure end to end delivery and acceptance from internal clients
• Make sure all assigned projects are aligned to Global Digital strategy
• Direct cooperation and workflow in mid-size projects, coordinate efforts of the digital/online teams or external suppliers, assign deliverables (using a software collaboration tool)
• Plan and track timelines and resources for individual projects
• Effectively communicate project expectations to teams and stakeholders
• Ensure evaluation goals and KPI’s of completed projects
• Independently work with internal clients to gather their requirements and regular updates for the purposes of planning. Keeps the plan updated.
• Suggest improvements for future projects based on feedback from completed projects and past experience
• Build and maintain lessons learned report / case study library of completed projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 3+ years of experience on similar position in a digital/online environment
• Active English (written and spoken, minimum B2)
• Digital native, expertise and understanding how digital fits into- and complements general business/marketing strategies
• Experience with digital marketing tactics - SEO/SEM, PPC, Web analytics, CRO, CLM, B2B automation, social media, and campaign management
• Oversight of digital business and development trends, web performance, web development, growth hacking
• Ability to predict and mitigate risks and issues
• Excellent presentation skills with emphasis on conceptualizing data-driven ideas
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment with globally distributed teams and partners, team player
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Good organization skills, focus on goals with strong communication skills and a sense of humor

Nice to have:
• Experience in project management planning – any certificates (PRINCE, PMI, SCRUM)
• Basic experiences with visual editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience with user research, user testing, AB testing, and web analytics
• Grasp of frontend techniques (HTML / CSS / JS) and Design Systems


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,800 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 900 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.
