Experienced Python Software Engineer (opportunity also for full home-office Slovakia)

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: From 2 700 EUR/monthBonus: Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 16,67% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period (usually 6 months).

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Important note - this position can be hybrid or full home-office within the Slovakia based on work agreement, not freelance or contract cooperation.

Automated analysis team is looking for a new team member. We work with many technologies, thus you should have skills in many different areas. Of course you will cooperate with other teams as well.

As a Software Engineer in our team, your goals will cover:

​• Development of internal services under the Linux and Windows platforms, mainly for automated sample processing
​• Being familiar with platforms such as Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android
​• Support, maintain and document software designs and functionality
​• Cooperate, drive technical discussions with team members on new features and improvements
​• Write unit and integration tests
​• Maintain CI/CD processes for frequent and efficient releases

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD.
