Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a skilled versatile marketing specialist with strong project management skills, who is up to date with the latest trends and has rich experience with B2B or channel marketing.
You will join our global marketing programs team, specifically, the team of four who lead projects focused on enterprise customers. Join us, work directly at the HQ of a global brand, introduce the projects in our regional offices, and assist with their implementation.

As a senior team member, you will:
• Develop the strategic concepts for projects with the highest priority.
• Gather market information, requirements and needs from regional marketing teams and local offices needed for strategy development; analyze and suggest/oversee actions and projects accordingly.
• Be the project owner and overall project manager and oversee the production.
• Cooperate with other teams (PR, online performance team, creative studio) and oversee the creation of all marketing assets.
• Introduce new programs to the regional offices and provide guidance related to their implementation onto the markets.
• Evaluate the performance of the executed projects, collect feedback, and provide summarized report and suggested improvements per project.
• Participate on development of global marketing plan according to the company’s business goals and segment strategies.
• Support or mentor more junior team members with concepts development.

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• At least 5 years of experience with B2B or channel marketing (incl. experience with international projects)
• Active English; both written and spoken
• Previous experience with brand awareness campaigns
• Solid background in content marketing
• High-level knowledge of digital marketing and performance marketing (incl. Google Analytics, web analytics tools)
• Understanding of offline and online marketing, SEO/social media, market research methods
• Strong project management skills accompanied by strong negotiation and relationship management
• High level of assertiveness, good organization skills and adaptability to changes
• Commercial awareness, sense of business opportunity


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,800 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 900 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.
