Position Overview
The Change & Release Management practice lead is accountable for process compliance and best practice of all planned and in flight change and release activities of one of our global customers from the Retail industry. The role makes sure that company best practice in change and release management is applied and enhanced with customer specific needs as required.

You are responsible for
• Ensures that all changes and release planning being developed and implemented by the account for both functionality and improvement, as well as operational effectiveness (non-functional) are managed through their lifecycle and successfully released
• Accountable for change & release management process compliance
• Promoting a zero-outage mindset across the account
• Ensuring that adequate risk management is carried out for all changes based upon impact and complexity
• Responsible for establishing change and release management best practice on the account (communication templates, checklists etc.)
• Continuously improves and automates existing change & release management processes
• Runs lessons learnt and implements learnings relating to change & release activities
• Monitors and reports on change & release process KPIs (e.g. cycle times, failed changes, post change incident volume increase etc.)
• Maintains change dashboards and resolves and/or escalates blockers relating to successful change implementation as required
• Consults and works with the customer, 3rd party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure release & change process compliance and rigor
• Works closely with change and release managers of the delivery towers as well as local market squads

• Minimum salary from 1 500 EUR gross per month, depending on experience

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required Qualifications
• Business minded individual – strong experience
• Strong stakeholder management
• Desire to drive automation and simplification
• Excellent management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• General IT environment concept knowledge (based on understanding of the ITIL framework)
• Works conceptionally and outcome driven
• Self-driven to achieve goals independently as well as work in team
• 3+ years' experience working in an IT Service, Change and/or Release Management role
• 3+ years’ experience in working in an environment with direct customer contact, preferably in the retail industry
• Ability to speak English B2+
• University degree preferred (can be substituted by at least 3 years of experience in IT Service management area on similar position)
Preferred Qualifications
• PMP Certification
• Agile/DevOps related would be an advantage
• ITIL v3 Foundations training or higher level of ITIL Certifications
