Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Autonomous End2End delivery and development of complex automation solutions
• Analysis of customer requirements and design of tailor-made automation solution
• Own, establish and govern the development and operation standards
• Initiate and drive R&D for automation solutions like ML/AI, RPA, Smart Data Extraction
• Evaluation and realisation of process improvements to ensure cost reduction and increase of efficiency and/or quality.
• Apply our automation solution portfolio (e.g. Blue Prism, ABBYY Flexicapture)
• Deliver consulting and trainings in the area of expertise (Automation/ Digitalization/ Innovation and Business Architecture)
• Develop business strategy in the area of expertise (Technology/Digitalization/Innovation and Business Architecture).
• Manage stakeholders - requirements, expectations, escalation handling
• Creating and maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure future sales
• Selling/Promoting products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
• Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.
• Presenting automation solutions to customers and management
• Support/deliver DTSE Targets (Innovation target, Future IT Landscape, etc.)
• Provide advisory to executives (DTSE Management Board) and business leaders
• Anticipates emerging trends and risks/issues
• Leads major cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives in DTSE

The salary for this position is from 3000 gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Advanced (C1)

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

• 6 years of work experience in IT area (Technology, Automation, Digitalization, IT Consulting) – mandatory
• 4 years of software development experience (e.g. Visual Basic .Net, C#, SQL) – mandatory
• RPA solutions like Blue Prism, UI Patch or Automation Anywhere – beneficial
• Scripting languages Python/JavaScript/PowerShell – beneficial
• Experience with Public Clouds (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud), Integration platforms (Microservice, API, SoaBP), Automation tools (Front End Assistant), Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (KNIME, ABBYY), Process Mining tools (Celonis) – beneficial
• SAP – knowledge about database/data fields/tables/report creations – beneficial
• Experience with complex international solution delivery – mandatory
• Experience in the business processes and operations of a finance shared service centre – beneficial
• Consulting for internal or external customer – beneficial

Language knowledge:
• English (fluent) – mandatory
• German – beneficial

Processing of selected parts of accounting for the T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary. Processing of selected tasks within procurement area for companies belonging to Deutsche Telekom group.
