Job description, responsibilities and duties
Provides services in the area of procurement focused on global procurement activities:
• Performs complex administrative tasks in the area of global procurement (approval of purchase requests, orders, etc.).
• Performs supplier selection within the defined clip level
• Monitors / manages procurement related processes and brings process improvements
• Communicates and supports internal customers and other parties by complex procurement related cases
• Preparates the supplier preselection based on the defined preffered supplier list and as well identifies new potential suppliers
• Manages independently big and complex tenders and quote requests, performs supplier preselection as well as performs negotiations with suppliers
• Ensures compliance of workflows and processes with established corporate policies
• Performes independently final supplier selection (within defined procurement strategies) and contract closings within defined clip level
• Manages independently the negotiations and closings of contracts, frame contracts as well as other tasks connected with the contract life cycle and usage in systems
• Performes Claim-Management for contracts and provides analysis of findings in order to suggest and implement corrective measures
• Works with internal IT systems and applications.
• Has high knowledge about the market, products and suppliers in the respective material category
• Provides support in projects through independent management of assigned tasks
• Is responsible for supplier management in the assigned category
• Identifies cost optimization potential and proposes measures for saving improvements
• Identifies improvements and provide comprehensive feedback to the global procurement strategy to the strategic sourcer
• Performs other tasks as required by the superior.
The salary for this position is from 2300 gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).
