Job description, responsibilities and duties

Key Performance Indicatios / Key Respondibilities and deliverables:
  • Interface to DeTe Accounting (DTSE), DT Group Tax and local tax advisors in the countries within the Pan-Net footprint
  • Coordinate preparation of tax relevant parts of the financial statements (monthly/ quarterly/ annual)
  • Ensure transfer pricing documentation is in place
  • Overall responsibility: coordination and monitoring of all tax related topics with relevant stakeholders in different countries

Detailed job description responsibilities:
  • Ensure preparation, calculation, coordination, reconciliation, book-keeping, supporting documentation and communication with Tax authorities in the area of Corporate income tax, VAT and withholding tax
  • Ensure the periodic filing and timely payments of all tax returns, ensure their completeness and compliance with all relevant local legislation as well DT Group Tax relevant policies.
  • Maintain good professional relations with external tax authorities as well as external and internal auditors, assist, communicate and prepare supporting documentation for them.
  • Coordinate and ensure statutory and IFRS deferred taxes calculation.
  • Prepare all necessary tax relevant documentation and reports related to year-end closing.
  • Monitor legislative changes in the area of taxes and implement them accordingly, communicate possible business impact with all relevant departments.
  • Ensure that the Company principles and practices in the area of taxes are followed up.
  • Prepare analysis and develop solutions for ad hoc tax issues.
  • Provide advice on intercompany transactions and pricing and partner with the business to find tax compliant solutions to intercompany recharges.
  • Ensure tax relevant requirements are implemented within the One.ERP (SAP) process set-up

Master/University degree in economics or other related fields

Professional knowledge, skills, know-how in the field & experience in the field:
  • Experience at least 5-7 years in tax area
  • Knowledge of the Slovak (or any other EU country) tax legislation   
  • Knowledge of IFRS is considered as an advantage
  • Experience with the tax jobs in big multinational companies or with tax advisory in a tax-consulting companies and experience with taxation in other EU countries is an advantage
  • Multinational experience: Yes

Brief description of the company

Deutsche Telekom Pan-Net, s.r.o. - established within Pan IP program is a company which will pilot and manage the whole pan-European Network. From Bratislava, this company will be the first point of contact regarding all overarching matters of the national companies with respect to the pan-European Network.
Being the key entry gate for requirements towards Pan-Net portfolio, we will manage a common service production catalogue, establish new processes and operating models, combining assets and resources to create services for the national companies.
To achieve all this we are building a new, cross-functional and truly international team.
