  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 850 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

Key accountabilities
• As a backup storage engineer, you are responsible for the operation of our customer's storage backup systems. Your tasks include:
• Planning, conception and implementation of commissioning and operation of the storage backup systems
• Processing / execution of complex orders
• Participation in the creation of decision templates and concepts
• Install and maintain tools
• Design and implementation of supporting tools
• Development and planning of service concepts
• Control of order processing
• Ensuring the agreed service level
• Creation of documentation

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Completed training as an IT system electronics technician, IT specialist for system integration, information electronics technician, computer scientist, business IT specialist or similar

• Min. 2 years relevant experience

IT Technical Skills
• Practical experience in the administration of the respective storage backup services:
• Veeam - Software Backup, IBM - TSM / Spectrum Protect, IBM - Spectrum Scale / TS35000 / TS45000, Quantum - I3 / I6000
• Knowledge of the respective manufacturer tools for administering the manufacturer systems
