  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 800 EUR/monthFinal salary is negotiable. We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1800 EUR/brutto.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
QA Automation Engineer evaluates tools and technology for test automation most appropriate to the project, writes, design, and executes automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically, maximizing test coverage of automated tests for the critical features of the system. Enables the transition of testing in various phases of testing process from a manual to an automated approach to minimize the manual test effort. Determines the priority for test scenarios and creates execution plans to implement these scenarios, writes documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases. QA Automation Engineer does selection and building of test automation frameworks, log and document bugs in the tracking system and setting up Continuous Integration in a CI/CD (continuous integration / continuous delivery) pipeline and oversees the entire development process, which includes software testing, from start to finish. The holder of position makes sure all released products meet company and industry quality standards and supports test team with test automation know-how, stays current on modern processes, established tools, techniques, and technologies and ensures high degree of quality.

Accountabilities
• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Leading evaluation of tools and technologies most appropriate for test automation on one or multiple projects.
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
• Create overall test architecture within continuous integration in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Identify key KPIs for product quality.
• Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
• Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.
• Responding to requests from the design team and management.
• Mentor and support QA Automation Engineers and testers in test automation.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Requiered Skills
• Java test Automation or proven manual testing experience
• Java programming language - at least teoretical knowledge
• XPath
• Experience with test framework Selenium
• alternatively JUnit, Mockito, hamcrest

Optional Skills
It will be advantage if you have already experience with below mentioned technologies:
• GitLab, VBS Script, Micro Focus UFT, Allure framework, Project Lombok, BLD, Micro Focus Skill Performer, REST API
• Camunda, BPM solution, Docker, REST, SOAP, Apache Maven, Jenkins
