Job description, responsibilities and duties

Telekom-IT at Deutsche Telekom IT & Telecommunications Slovakia forms part of the Internal IT department for the Deutsche Telekom AG. As part of the Lead Incident Management Team, the Process Specialist works as part of the LIM Service sub-team which provides 24/7 assistance to the Telekom IT Incident Management process. The process specialist provides vital assistance to Lead Incident Managers in Slovakia and Germany during high priority Major Incidents. He/she also coordinates with other departments and continuously improves processes according to valid standards in order to increase customer satisfaction and the efficiency of the service provided.

Accountabilities
• Organize and participate on teleconferences/meetings with all required participants to inform about actions to be taken.
• Active assistance on conference calls during the Major Incident procedure.
• Coordinate continuous improvement in working processes to increase customer satisfaction.
• Perform and quality check handover of tasks to other entities such as Problem Management teams.
• Participation in process related projects to ensure continuous improvement up to DT IT &Telecommunications standards.
• Provide an interface between process and operational topics to ensure proper communication between different teams.
• Report regular KPI’s to Management and customers and set up actions in case of deviance to keep quality on an expected level.

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Overall overview of ICT industry environment an advantage
• Experience with MS Excel
• Experience of IT operations across at least 1area (e.g. application operation, system operation, infrastructure, network, storage, desktop) an advantage
• ITIL / Process knowledge an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work on a 24/7 shift plan
