  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 1 325 EUR/monthgross/month base salary plus other financial and non-financial benefits

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Periodically review the national Sub Contractor logistics network model to ensure it remains cost effective & relevant to the needs of the business,
- Determine & analyze all transport Sub Contractors` cost drivers to enable the daily management and effective agreed KPI's,
- Provide support to the depot transport teams to drive cost containment and/or cost reductions, delivery flexibility through development of comprehensive transport performance metrics,
- To undertake logistics benchmarking & competitor analysis to build a best in class logistics delivery model,
- Regularly scans external & competitive environment for market developments which could impact on our business strategy,
- Develop a standard costing delivery model. Develop Transport Solutions and rate cards for RFQ responses,
- Reduce operating cost through improved commercial agreements, while balancing highest possible service levels at lowest possible delivery cost,
- Maintain carrier relationship via QBR’s,
- Carrier development activities.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced
Microsoft Access - advanced
Microsoft Power Bi - advanced

Driving licence


Personality requirements and skills

- Experience in transportation (knowledge of local market and pricing),
- English and Slovak language – fluent (written and spoken),
- Good communication skills, maintaining effective relationships with clients and suppliers,
- Planning and cost modelling skills,
- Decision making and problem solving skills,
- Strong analytical skills,
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power BI or - MS Access,
- Flexibility to travel.
