Job description, responsibilities and duties

#Who we're looking for#
Deloitte's Transaction Advisory team is looking for a new colleague in the area of ​​mergers and acquisitions (financial due diligence). We help investors with acquisitions in Slovakia and Central Europe. So here's the opportunity for you:

If you answered YES, check what we are looking for:
- University degree preferably in finance, accounting and/or combination. Qualification studies (ACCA, CFA) completed or in progress close to finalization; working experience in financial analyses;
- 5 years of professional experience in due diligence assignments, audit and/or relevant financial advisory experience/Audit preferably with an international professional services firm;
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills, including advanced use of MS Office tools;
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written);
- Well-developed analytical, logical and business diagnostic skills;
- Ability to quickly master new tasks and manage ambiguity;
- Ability to work unsupervised and ensure an overall picture of the engagement;
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management.

#Your future role#

You will get:
- The opportunity of working on some high profile transactions for strategic investors and private equity funds primarily within the region of Central Europe;

Main responsibilities include:
- Participation in due diligences;
- Analyzing business to identify key drivers of financial performance;
- Project Management with a focus on due diligence projects;
- Report drafting and presentation of results to Partner/Clients;
- Review of financial aspects of the transaction documentation;
- Building relationships with clients, daily communication;
- Managing a team of seniors and associates by allocating the tasks and ensuring that deliverables are of good quality and prepared in due time.

#About the team#
Valuation is a complex and sometimes controversial subject. It requires in-depth understanding of the economic, industry trends, the asset and its competitors, together with financial and non-financial information, as well as factors such as the legal and regulatory environment. Effective valuation advice combines the right blend of analysis, experience and professional judgment.
