Manager Sales Engineers / Customer Experience Engineers

What you’ll achieve

As an Manager Sales Engineer, you are expected to partner with assigned EMEA Sales & Presales stakeholders to ensure defined goals, team revenue and margin targets are met. He/She will be managing a team of Remote System Engineers, also called Customer Experience Engineers (CXE) to achieve sales productivity and outcomes.

You will:

  • Manage a team of CXEs in in order to achieve sales productivity and outcomes and handle the ongoing development, performance, and engagement of the assigned CXE team through inspirational leadership;

  • Work with Sales/Presales team to attain defined goals, team revenue and margin targets. Remotely collaborate and partner with Presales and Sales teams to accelerate sales motion which will directly benefit the Presales and Sales community in the assigned sales district or presales teams;

  • Participate in account planning, sales strategies and sales promotion campaigns through aligned Sales/Presales team;

  • Regularly engage with all stakeholders including CXEs, Sales/Presales team, customers or partners;

  • Participate and present in sales/presales meetings to drive CXE engagement and outcomes. Train and enable CXEs for successful deployment on customer accounts and/or sales districts.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven track record in Presales/Sales/CXE/Inside Sales roles or other customer facing roles;

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure Customer requirements are met keeping Dell Technologies Advantage in mind;

  • Ability to guide team across Sales cycle and give directions to meet assigned targets and experience in talent management, recruiting or organizational development;

  • High level of detail-orientation - this job has oversight into metrics used to report progress up to senior leaders. Ability to manage data successfully with high level of accuracy is critical;

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and articulation skills; Ability to anchor remote meetings, present to remote/live audience, and good storytelling skills.

Desirable Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience with technical degree in STEM disciplines;

  • Strong technical acumen in enterprise storage, software, and networking;

  • A second language (beside English) - would be a plus.

Salary starting from: 2900 EUR monthly gross
