  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2 000 EUR/monthFrom 2000€ Base Salary + 23% Maximum Reachable Annual Variable Bonus (Base Salary is minimum possible at this position and may be higher depending on the applicant´s experience)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job purpose: 

  • Ensure maximum availability / reliability of mechanical equipment in the plant by managing the appropriate corrective and preventive interventions, assuring the fulfillment of OH&S norms and ensuring correct utilization of maintenance tools and instruments at the lowest sustainable cost.

Key Tasks: 

  • Guarantee and foster compliance with OH&S and environment policies for all maintenance personnel. Establish safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health prevention during maintenance activities.
  • Manage  all the  activities to maintain the condition of the mechanical installations and to assure proper functioning of equipment and systems. Ensure mechanical maintenance team readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns.Develop and upgrade standard and specifications for repetitive maintenance activities.
  • Develop and motivate its team, ensuring competencies and skills development according to technical innovations, plant or personal needs. Train and coach the mechanical maintenance team to aim for more flexibility and efficiency.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning of costs. Contribute to planning for all foreseeable operations (weekly, master, shutdown). Responsible to ensure enough capacities to fulfill the predefined daily/weekly plan and  in case of need organize external resources.
  • Cooperate and assessment of project documentation  of new systems/equipment and modifications of existing systems/equipment. 
  • Propose modifications in cooperation with Capex department for new installations / equipment. 
  • Participate actively at commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

  • University degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years experience dealing with mechanical field; experience in heavy industry preferred.
  • English language - B2
  • SAP - advantage
  • Tis - advantage
  • Proven skills managing people (team of 10 - 20 people)
