Product designer for E-mobility (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
- Design of mechatronic assemblies suitable for fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials (mechanics, hydraulics)
- Optimizing geometry by simulation of tool fulfilment, CFD analysis and FE; participation in FMEA constructional analysis
- Design of static and dynamic sealing systems in coolant and air paths and design of slide bearings in plastic applications
- Application of plastic welding procedures (infrared, ultrasonic and laser welding) and design of the necessary molding geometry
- Development of new, competitive product solutions for various vehicle applications (with internal combustion engine, hybrid vehicles, vehicles with battery and fuel cells)
- Cooperation in the development, verification and verification of series design (DVP*) evaluation of measurement reports for technical release of products and changes for prototype production and serial production
- Assessment and evaluation of competing modules (benchmarking) / Creation and maintenance of all necessary technical documents as well as mandatory documents in the Windchill system (PDMLink) and processing of demand/quote flow, creating BOMs in SAP and calculating costs on BOM
- Implementation of request management, configuration, and changes in the process of development of product

Your profile:
- Completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable fields
- Very good knowledge of PTC Creo, Windchill PDMLink, SAP and MS Office; PTC Integrity (advantage)
- Professional experience in plastic constructions of mechatronic assemblies in the automotive industry and experience with plastic design and design of specific structures for injection molding
- Experience with automated and manual serial production and very good knowledge of design regulations, standards and directives in the Automotive sector
- Good knowledge in the process of development of products (PEP) and management of requirements, configuration, changes and quality
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel abroad (several months of training in Germany)
