Job description, responsibilities and duties

Leading a team of production planning and customer SCM specialists;
Responsibility for safeguarding the flow of information and material transfer towards the customer;
Responsibility for planning, ensuring and controlling an effective and efficient production to ensure a smooth flow of the production orders in order to meet delivery dates agreed with customers;
Production Planning in Conti Automotive (APO);
Customer Process Management (Demands, satisfaction, Shortage Management ….);
Maintaining Planning Tool Landscape, interface to operations MES systems;
New Project Launch, Cash Flow Management (SEMI+FIN inventory management);
Supporting SCM in all kinds of new processes;
Allocation management in case of any special situations;
Supporting Industry 4.0 in material flow projects;
Defining and tracking suitabkle KPIs in SC Planning to support Plant Management decisions;
Ensuring timely availability of all relevant reports out to management;
Supporting Headcount planning in production.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Mechanical engineering, economics or similar

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Experience in the position/sector

Manufacturing sector or similar

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

Graduated in mechanical engineering, economics or similar;
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing sector or similar
Minimum 3 years of experience with leadership management;
Knowledge of production processes, focus MES systems, Planning systems - an advantage;
Language skills - English (C1), German language - an advantage;
Experience with SAP system - an advantage;
Independence, reliability, communicativeness, responsibility, logical and analytical thinking.
